Content leader focused on clarity, craft, and better storytelling

📍 Indiana, USA

About Me

I’ve spent more than a decade helping companies find the stories buried underneath the marketing because, in my experience, most companies have a clarity problem, not a content problem.

Along the way, I’ve built content programs, led teams, and stayed close to the writing and editing itself. Now, with Throughline Marketing, I work with companies that need sharper strategy, stronger storytelling, and an experienced set of hands that can think and execute.

Fractional Content Leader | June 2026 - Present

I work with companies that need experienced content direction without adding a full-time leader – from helping with strategy and building content ops to developing thought leadership concepts and campaigns, strengthening customer storytelling, and jumping in to edit and write alongside the team.

Skills & Superpowers

Writing & Strategy

Content strategy, storytelling, and thought leadership. I’m at my best when I’m helping teams find the story buried underneath the marketing — then making it clear, useful, and worth someone’s time.

Leadership

People-first, always. I've built and led content teams, managed agencies and contractors, and partnered cross-functionally with the same philosophy: give people room to do their best work, advocate for them, and stay curious enough to keep learning from them.

Content Operations

The unglamorous (and often my favorite) side of content marketing. Editorial planning, cross-functional workflows, reporting, and the systems that keep the work moving without adding unnecessary process.

Tools & Innovation

Comfortable across AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, CMS platforms, and project management software (big Asana guy, personally). I’m quick to test what’s useful, skeptical of what isn’t, and generally more interested in whether a tool improves the work than whether it’s new.
